At Sit! Stay! Play!, we adhere to national standards, assigning one team member to every 15 dogs. Dogs are separated by size and occasionally by play style, especially for those in between sizes. Our dog capacity is limited to ensure the recommended square footage per dog, preventing overcrowding and reducing stress or anxiety. You’ll notice a calm environment with little barking, thanks to our low-stress atmosphere and positive reinforcement techniques. Sit! Stay! Play! is a recognized national leader in dog care management.
How to Become a Member
- Create a client portal and upload your dog's vaccinations through the Propet link.
- We’ll contact you to schedule a phone conference and a meet-and-greet. The meet-and-greet lasts 15-30 minutes, during which your dog won’t interact with others, ensuring a positive first experience at our facility.
- Dogs must be up-to-date on Rabies, DHPP (or equivalent), Bordetella, Lepto, and have a clean fecal result within 60 days of their first day.
- We require at least one standing reservation per week, with additional days available based on space. You will be charged for no-shows, with exceptions for vacations as outlined in the paperwork. Each client is entitled to two weeks of vacation per year at no charge.
- Please note: We do not accept dogs with food or toy possession issues.
First Day Rules
On your dog's first day, they must arrive by 7:30 AM to allow time for them to adjust before the other dogs arrive. This helps ease them into the environment without overwhelming them. Pickup is between 4-5 PM.

- Our Team
At Sit! Stay! Play!, our team members undergo an extensive training program, including courses, tests, shadowing, and hands-on learning. Every team member completes the "Knowing Dogs 101" course on canine body language and "Knowing Dogs 201" on group play dynamics. After each course, team members must pass a test and demonstrate their knowledge in the daycare setting. They also watch educational videos on Dog Handler Academy and attend seminars and classes. This comprehensive training can take up to six months to complete.
